Jim decided he wanted oatmeal raisin cookies today, so Jase and I went looking for a new recipe. We found this recipe online and decided to try it. The cookies are absolutely amazing, they are chewy and moist with a great flavor. The kosher salt adds a great element to the cookies giving them the perfect amount of salt. I would definitely use unsalted butter or they will be too salty. We also soaked the raisins in hot water for 10 minutes, this plumped them up and gave a better flavor. AMAZING!!
